RAM Installation Instructions

1. Power off the system completely and disconnect all external power sources and peripherals.
2. Place the laptop on a clean, flat, anti-static work surface to prevent electrostatic discharge.
3. Remove all screws from the bottom chassis cover using a precision PH0 screwdriver.
4. Utilize a plastic pry tool to gently release the perimeter clips and lift the bottom cover away from the base assembly.
5. Locate the battery connector and carefully unplug the harness from the motherboard to ensure the system is completely de-energized.
6. Identify the memory components on the motherboard; observe that the 8 GB LPDDR5 memory is soldered directly to the PCB and does not feature SO-DIMM upgrade slots.
7. Confirm that the system is already operating at its maximum factory-configured dual-channel bandwidth supported by the soldered architecture.
8. Reconnect the battery harness securely to the motherboard connector.
9. Realign the bottom chassis cover and apply gentle, even pressure around the edges until all clips snap back into place.
10. Reinstall the bottom panel screws and reconnect the power adapter to resume normal operation.

SSD Installation Instructions

1. Shut down the laptop entirely and remove the AC power adapter.
2. Remove the screws from the bottom base cover and use a plastic pry tool to safely unclip the panel from the laptop frame.
3. Locate the battery connector on the motherboard and disconnect it to ensure safe handling of internal components.
4. Locate the M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD slot near the cooling assembly.
5. Remove the single Phillips-head screw securing the existing 512 GB SSD.
6. Gently slide the old SSD out of the M.2 slot and set it aside.
7. Align the notch on your new NVMe PCIe Gen4 SSD (up to 1024 GB) with the key in the M.2 connector.
8. Insert the new drive into the slot at a 30-degree angle until it is fully seated.
9. Press the drive down gently until it rests on the standoff and secure it using the original Phillips-head screw.
10. Reconnect the battery harness, snap the bottom panel back into place, and secure the chassis screws.
11. Power on the device and enter the BIOS setup to verify the new storage capacity is correctly recognized.
